A Prayer for Victims and Households after Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
On 6 February 2023, an earthquake hit southern and central Turkey, and northern and western Syria with a magnitude of at the least 7.8. It was adopted by greater than 1,000 aftershocks, together with an unusually highly effective 7.7 9 hours after the mainshock. It was Turkey’s deadliest earthquake in 80 years.
